We were thinking Canada or Florida, but what other states can we drive to that is a great spot for adults and kids alike? And also not over 24 hours driving distance. Thanks!

Well, there’s Minnesota. There are a lot of lakes if you like fishing. A great one to visit would be Lake Mille Lacs north of St.Cloud. There’s Lake Superior on the North Shore, Duluth, and the Mississippi River Headwaters at Lake Itasca. In the Twin Cities there is the Mall of America w/ Underwater Adventures inside (largest underground aquarium), the Science Museum of Minnesota w/ Titanic Exhibit, Valleyfair, the Minnesota Zoo. There’s an IMAX theatre at the zoo and an indoor waterpark across the street from the Mall of America. There’s also the theme park in the Mall of America. In St. Cloud, there is Quarry Park and Summerland. There is so much more in Minnesota to do than I can mention here. It’s only about 7 hours to Minneapolis from Chicago, and it would only take you within 5 hours to go anywhere else in the state.
