Cancun a city on the southeast coast of Mexico is a great vacation spot. Cancun is much safer than other resort cities in Mexico and it offers some of the most beautiful beaches. A top spot to visit is Playa Delfines (Dolphin Beach), which is known to be among the most beautiful in the world. Cancun is part of Mexico's Caribbean coast resort area known as the Rivera Maya. Cancun has a tropical climate with little temperature difference between months; however, with rainy and dry seasons. The rainy season runs from May through October, hot temperatures, high humidity, with thundershowers are common. The dry season is December and runs through April.
