I am looking to take my boyfriend on some sort of tropical vacation this summer for 4 days or so. He has never been anywhere outside of the continental US before, so I think somewhere like Bermuda may be really fun (though I have heard it is pricey there). However, I am not made of money and do not have loads to spend. I’d also like somewhere close to the US (I live in Maryland) so we wouldn’t waste too much time flying.
Any suggestions would be much appreciated. I’d love somewhere all-inclusive, but so far the ones I have looked at, like Sandals, are a bit pricey. Thanks so much!!
Atlantis in Nassau in the Bahamas is pretty cool. Their packages are all-inclusive.

You could also do like a 4-night cruise in the Caribbean! They’re really fun, and pretty inexpensive for going to all the places.
Does he have a passport? Make sure first. If he’s never been out of the country, then probably not…
In that case, consider Puerto Rico. It sill feels very Caribbean, but you can go there with no passport. There were some awesome places to party and explore in San Juan, and plenty of nice resorts and stuff as well.
Also, have you ever been to an all-inclusive? I personally hate them. If I’m going to travel somewhere, I want to try all the delicates food they have to offer. If you’re at an all-inclusive, you’re stuck eating crappy hotel food the whole time. (sorry to be so negative!)

One of the lowest cost caribbean vacations is to fly into SDQ and stay at nearby Hotel Dominican Bay in Boca Chica. I have been there many times. The beach and all inclusive drinks and food are just great.
Dominican Republic! Beautiful crystal blue oceans, tropical forests, private beaches. VERY CHEAP. At most the drinks were around 3 bucks and meals in little cafe’s were around 15. Also Turkey and Thailand are quite interesting. but really the DR was the best!
Look at the ALL INCLUSIVE at SANDALS in ANTIGUA.. it’s a British island.. very clean and ENGLISH SPEAKING which may may make him feel better about going to a Caribbean island.
