I want somewhere low hassle (since we have a 10 month old and my wife is pregnant (2nd trimester so it's safe to fly). So no 15 hour flights or remote locations that have to be gotten to in lengthy or awkward ways. I also want somewhere warm & tropical with either a beach and/or pool. I also don't want to be around thousands of other tourists, and I don't want to spend a fortune. Maybe a simple island with cottages, but one that has a large airport nearby? Any ideas? I am looking to take my boyfriend on some sort of tropical vacation this summer for 4 days or so. He has never been anywhere outside of the continental US before, so I think somewhere like Bermuda may be really fun (though I have heard it is pricey there). However, I am not made of money and do not have loads to spend. I’d also like somewhere close to the US (I live in Maryland) so we wouldn’t waste too much time flying. I am wanting to go to the beach with my family for my high school graduation trip. I will probably be taking about 10 or 11 of my family members not including me. So we would need a condominium to stay in. I would also like for it to be a nice atmostphere. Not a lot of crazy party areas where you see condoms everywhere.
