Manda Bay In Kenya Would Make An Extraordinary All Inclusive Family Vacation Package

All inclusive Family Vacation Packages and Luxury Holidays don’t somehow lie easily together. Most people’s vision of an all inclusive package is one of a large somewhat garish 21st Century all singing all dancing hotel containing lots of people you wouldn’t want to be with.

What we have here is somewhat different.

Manda Bay is a small, very intimate, luxury resort set on an island close to Lamu on the Indian Ocean in North East Kenya. It only has sixteen spacious and secluded bandas, so even with this limited information, it is quite obviously a totally different prospect to the gin palace of nightmares.

If in your opinion all inclusive means big, and that means beautiful, then read no further because Manda Bay is the stuff that dreams are made of, but families who make this choice need to be aware that this is laid back luxury, but whilst there is plenty to do, there are no discos, night clubs, but rather peace, tranquillity and great unspoilt natural beauty. Best of all if this is your idea of heaven, then you will find the other guests are very much like you!!

The great thing about Manda Bay is not only its idyllic situation, nor the fact it is undoubtedly a luxury resort for a luxury vacation, yet perfect for an all inclusive family vacation package, but it is still an ideal destination as part of a romantic honeymoon package. Quite probably one of the top places to book into at the end of a Kenya Safari Tour, when you want a bit of spoiling!!

Manda Bay lies on a long palm fringed beach at the northwest of Manda Island, it is very private, very secluded but close enough to Lamu town to visit and enjoy.

There is a central dining room, bar and separate lounge area all locally furnished with sofas and large cushions. You can take the hotel’s dhow outh for sundowners or for a two or three day romantic hire to cruise the uninhabited islands around the Lamu Archipelago.

When it comes to daily activities the complimentary water sports included windsurfing, laser sailing, snorkelling and kayaking. Dolphins and turtles are frequent visitors, and even the occasional humpback whale.

There are two ski boats skis, a kite surfer, banana boats, tubes and wake boards. There is deep sea fishing and saltwater fly fishing plus several skiffs for creek fishing on offer as well For the energetic, there are walking and cycling excursions, but perhaps a bit of real pampering is what you need, so a massage is a great option.

You will be fed extremely well with great emphasis on fresh fish, seafood, such as fresh tuna, mangrove crab, and prawns.

Breakfast is fairly casual, with no real set time. There is a fresh fruit buffet, home made cereals, yoghurt, and if required a full English breakfast.

Lunch is buffet style either by the pool, in the dining room, or on the 60 foot sailing Jahazi.

The culmination is a three course dinner either in the dining room, or normally outside under the stars.

Manda Bay makes an ideal escape from 21st century life whether you want to go there as part of an all inclusive family package or this is your choice of luxury resort as part of a romantic honeymoon package.
