I’m not suggesting hitchhiking, but if you can piece together your way to reach your destination, you can find a really great vacation deal. For example, you might actually want to visit Los Angeles, but airfar from your local airport is through the roof. You can make your own holiday deal by flying into a nearby city and hire a car one way or finding an affordable ride the bus.
